range finderThe most important thing about climbing into a tree when you are hunting is to make sure you have all your things organized and securely attached to you. One of the biggest is to make sure you clamp on your range finder onto your side if you do not have a bag.

The reason why I say this is because you would not believe how many rangefinders have fallen out of a pocket and dropped onto the ground and completely damaged the range finder. Try and remember this for the next time when you are getting into your deer stand.

range finderWell, I guess the title pretty much explains it all! If you take out the range finder you have basically just a guessing game on how far away your target actually is. Not unless you have a tape measure built in your head your not going to be as accurate as you can be if you had one of these.

Ya, you can be pretty close without one, but a few yards can make a big difference. By using a range finder you can get the distance dead on and get that trophy deer you have been scouting all year long!

saving money on hunting gear Everybody has a wish list, especially for hunting gear. That is why it is important to set a budget for your hunting gear. I mean some things you can go cheap on, but you must remember that old saying that says, “you get what you pay for”. I’m not saying you have to go out and buy the most expensive products either.

Hunting gear consist of lots of products. That is why it is important to set a budget and stay within that price. Make a list of items you want and the prices of them and then you decide on where you can spare some money and get by with what you got and what you need. The biggest thing to remember that you have to be smart on what hunting gear you buy and where you buy it.

bushnell rangefindersAs you can see there are many different styles of bushnell rangefinders. They don’t all look the same and do they have to have the same features. For example the Bushnell Yardage Pro Laser Rangefinder 4-12×42 looks like a rifle scope, but yet it isn’t.

This just shows that you shouldn’t look at it and not like it because it looks different then all the other ones. Because it does the exact same thing as the other bushnell rangefinders except just shaped differently. These work wonders you should check this style out!

rangefindersSome hunters might argue with you and say that rangefinders is an inconvenience. And then others might say the opposite. Well, to be honest you can look at it both ways. A good way around it is to have an extra person when you go hunting.

The reason why I say that is when the hunter has the bow or a rifle aiming at the target, the other person can be using the rangefinder to tell you how many yards away it is. Now you took away the hassle of having one. Besides its always fun to have another person with you for company. So just remember that rangefinders aren’t always an inconvenience.

Bushnell Range FinderI stumbled upon this great review of  bushnell range finders, and thought I would share it with you. Nothing explains more about great products than reviews from actual customers. Anybody can talk about something, but until you actually try something yourself, then you can talk about it, and in this case it is about bushnell range finders.

I looked at many rangefinders over the years before I finally landed on one that I am totally impressed with. The Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450 Rangefinder has everything a hunter needs to get the job done when the time is right. I am not saying it is the correct one for every hunter in every situation, but predominantly, for the type of hunting I do, it more than takes care of me. Like I said earlier this is just a random review about bushnell range finders.

Equip yourself with the cutting edge in laser technology.  The Bushnell range finder offers an accurate measurement of distances not more than 150 meters from the target. Engineers and architects normally take longer time measuring width and lengths of huge project sites using conventional transit scopes that require two other assistants. With a Bushnell range finder, a project manager will get accurate information just by using laser reading.

The Bushnell range finder is also recommended for golf enthusiasts. An accurate measurement of the distance of the ball to the target hole will help in the selection of the correct type of club to use. A hunting sportsman will also have better information of a target if it’s within range of his weapon. The Bushnell range finder’s high-speed clock measures the time it took a laser to reach the target and bounces back the information to the unit.
